| Dorbel : This was a terrific match that could have gone either way. I took the first two games to lead 6-0, before Aram levelled the scores at 6-6 with some aggressive cube action and chequer play. I then went ahead again by 9-6, but Aram came back with a doubled plain game and a doubled gammon to reach the Crawford game. This one went my way and with a mandatory double take following, was able to blitz and close out three men to kill him off. Kudos to Aram Gurekian, for fine play and great sportsmanship. | |||||||
