Rules :

Scheduling of matches is the responsibility of the players. We recommend using the player email links provided on the Fibsters Page to schedule your matches. Every mail must be sent with fibsleagammon(at)free(dot)fr in copy and [FLG] in the subject.
 

To report Match : Only the global result / You don't have to post for each match.
 - the looser go to the post page and in the Bracket's column choose the number of points of the game and information of the tourney.
 - the winner go to the confirm page and just put his password to confirm.

I have put no deadline for each round, hoping people doing their best effort to play match as soon as possible. In case of no activity, I would be able to award some forfeits.

=> The finalist of the main bracket will play the winner of the consolation. The winner of this match will play, the winner of the main bracket who will have the opportunity to loose once.

History :

This year we will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the creation of our league. The Tournament will be a double-elimination bracket, with each match played as best of Five 5Pts Matchs.

The First time I connected to Fibs was in 1999. I was wondering how backgammon has to be played, and the first place I found was the right place ;-). I mean FIBS. Then I began to enjoy that game and as all off you, I was trying to improve myself. What does that mean ? Reading Articles and playing serious game with good players. Luckily a new kind of competition was about starting : The Gammon Quest. We played here for a while until they suddenly stop managing tourneys. I remember, I felt very frustrated and decided to run my own competition and learn about PHP.

FLG was born ...

I spent here great moments and improve a little my game ;-) over this ten years with you. I hope this tournament will be a digest of the best of these ten great years and maybe the opportunity for old players to come back and for the new ones to discover it.
